Description
Looking for a rewarding, flexible career? Want to make a real difference to a young person’s life? Then consider a career as a foster carer.
Could you be a Foster Carer?
To become a foster carer, you can be single, married or living with someone, you can be a homeowner or tenant, you can be working or unemployed and you can be from any religion, ethnic origin or sexuality however, unfortunately, you cannot be living in shared accommodation or student housing.
Do you have the skills and qualities to be a Foster Carer?
Foster Carers offer a safe and stable family home for children or young people who are unable to live with their own families. Patience, understanding, love, commitment and security are key skills required.
So, if you’d like to work from home and you
- Have a spare bedroom in your home
- Are over 21
- Work flexible hours or are available full time
- Have the skills required to support a vulnerable child
- Can demonstrate that you can provide a caring nurturing environment
Then Prepare to Foster would like to talk to you. Foster Carers must be able to devote their full attention to the child/ren in their care, so we offer a competitive pay, benefits, support package and Carers are rewarded with continuous training and development (including NVQ qualifications).
We welcome applications from anyone who meets the above criteria and has a desire to make a difference in a child’s life. Fast track recruitment is available for experienced carers transferring agencies, or those coming from sectors with transferable skills for example care, teaching, childcare or experienced parents.
