2 bright rooms in spacious flat that's walking distance from Denmark Hill and Peckham Rye
£750
Description
I'm renting two rooms in a beautiful and very well located flat near Denmark Hill.
There's one double (£750 pm) and one single (£550 pm) on offer which share one bathroom. All bills amount to about £60-£80 a month; including cleaning.
The single room is cosy with a single bed, but has lots of wall shelving for storage, overlooks a garden (no road noise), is flooded with natural light, and is a really tranquil space.
The double room is again flooded with natural light, has a soft and comfy bed, and has plenty of storage.
The shared bathroom has an actual bath (a Sunday evening treat!).
The flat is honestly beautiful. The living space is huge, kitchen is well-equipped (brand new dishwasher), and there's a South facing balcony. We often work/spend evenings in the living room owing to the massive windows which makes it a very light and airy space to be in.
The living room/kitchen is also great for gatherings or dinner parties as it's completely open plan.
It's a first floor flat (so very safe) in an old Victorian building. There are 5 flats in the building; all neighbours are very pleasant and the building is very well kept.
I'm looking for someone who can move in anytime between 27th June and 31 August, but the earlier the better.
The location is superb: walking distance from East Dulwich (where you can find tons of bars/pubs, organic food shops, seveal gyms and a picture house cinema); walking dispance to Peckham (with clubs, great bars, Frank's cafe and London's cheapest cinema, any film £4.99!) and walking distance to Camberwell (with... chicken shops and Ladbrokes...). If you want to rave until 5am in Peckham, you can; if you like slow evenings in an East Dulwich country pub, you can; if you like to run around large commons, you can.
There's a gigantic Sainsbury's 5 min walk away, open until midnight everyday.
Myself: Work in consulting (sometimes very long hours...) play piano (I have 2 in the flat), read a lot, eat/cook a lot (which probably has to do with my French ascents), watch a lot of movies during Oscars' season, have nearly 7 years of experience of flatsharing with people from all around the planet.
